Unlike a traditional shower head, a rain shower is designed to mimic the light pitter-patter of rain. That said, it is unrealistic to expect it to feel the same as a high-pressure shower head, although installing one at the right angle may save you many headaches and chilly showers. Placing it in the same place as a regular shower head instead of directly above you on the ceiling ensures that you can move in and out of the water as you please without it hitting you directly on the top of the head.
