Coming up with ideas on how to style your open-concept living room can be hard. With so much space and no architectural guidance, it can seem like a daunting task.
The best way to start is by dividing up the space visually with large furniture, most do this with a sectional sofa to almost act like a half wall in the space. Another incredibly effective way to create distinct spaces is by using large area rugs to cordon off zones within your living space. However, remember to try to keep an easy-flowing walkway in your home, you want the walkways to flow around zones and avoid going directly through areas. Once you have your main furniture pieces in and a gorgeous area rug you get to have fun decorating your space to reflect your personal tastes and style.
