When I picture a fireplace, an image of a stone structure with a wide hearth always comes to mind. I think it’s because of the large stone fireplace that was the focal point of my parents’ home and where we would frequently gather for holidays and family occasions. It’s probably why I am so enthralled by the natural stone fireplace in this neutral living room that features a wooden mantel displaying a large vintage sign. The white chunky knit blanket tucked into a wicker basket on the hearth gives me all sorts of cozy vibes.
