A deep gem-toned teal paint was used to transform this hearth and built-in entirely. Never underestimate what a can of paint can do for your space and mental health! The wooden shelves, mantel, and logs on either side of the fireplace break up the dark color, so it isn’t too overwhelming. The rest of the room is styled with a mauve sofa topped with an assortment of pillows, a gorgeous, patterned ottoman, and the fluffiest area rug I have ever seen.
