Nature’s Touch

Christmas Décor Ideas for TV Stands

This holiday season, bring the magic of Christmas into your living room with a farmhouse-inspired décor theme for your TV stand. Imagine a setting where Mother Nature and Santa collaborate to create a winter wonderland. Picture flocked trees and garlands woven throughout the room, including clusters of mini trees tastefully arranged over and under a wooden console table. The use of wooden crates and galvanized metal plant pots adds to the rustic charm, perfectly complementing the holiday theme.

Interior designer Camila Lyons emphasizes the timeless appeal of garlands, noting, “Garlands are the quintessential Christmas decor choice, offering both warmth and timeless elegance.” She advises that when decorating for the holiday season, it’s important to maintain the home’s existing style and ambiance. “By incorporating garlands, you can infuse the festive spirit without overwhelming or altering your home’s aesthetic, ensuring a harmonious and inviting atmosphere for all.”

How to Pair Blinds and Curtains Together for an Elegant Look

We don’t often think about combining blinds and curtains, especially when one or the other will suffice. But believe it or not, the benefits of pairing both window coverings together may be enough to convince you otherwise! For example, did you know that closing both blinds and curtains can help you conserve energy by retaining heat in the winter and cool air in the summer (https://www.consumerreports.org/home-garden/energy-efficiency/beat-the-heat-with-window-coverings-a9…,heat%20loss%20in%20the%20winter.)? Or that curtains or blinds alone may not be enough for complete privacy?

If you’re surprised by these facts, you may want to investigate for yourself. Hang some Roman bamboo shades for a bohemian look with a natural vibe.
